Anne Kearns
Biography
Anne Kearns is a Director and Head of Post-Qualification Training for The Growing Edge and an Associate with JSB. She has been a trainer for the past 17 years, designing and running training and consultancy projects in a wide range of organisational, management, academic and personal development areas. Anne works across all industry sectors.
In addition to training and consultancy projects, Anne provides one-to-one coaching, skills development, stress management and counselling to individuals and company employees. Anne also has a private psychotherapy and counselling practice and teaches and supervises in London and Manchester. She is an external examiner at South Bank University and is a Teaching and Supervising Member and former Chair of the Gestalt Psychotherapy and Training Institute. She has taught psychotherapy and counselling at all levels since 1992. She is working on her Doctorate at Middlesex University, which focuses on her research into design and implementation of post-qualification training courses for psychotherapists and counsellors.
Anne is a native New Yorker who has lived in London for 20 years. Before coming to the UK she worked as a consultant to various arts organisations in the US and was the Director of Trinity Dance Management.
