Biography
Catherine Rayner is a trainer and consultant with JSB Training and Development. She is a practising barrister, specialising in employment and discrimination law and has significant experience of devising and delivering training programmes to a variety of audiences on most aspects of employment law and best practice.
Catherine has also worked as an academic, researching employment law and practice, a Law Centre worker, and an employment lawyer for both the National Council of Voluntary Organisations and the Association of Colleges. She has written and co-written a number of good practice guides, and currently writes a 6-monthly update on discrimination law for the Legal Action Group. She is a member of a number of professional associations including the Discrimination Law Association, the Industrial Law Society and the Employment Law Bar Association. Catherine combines training and writing with a busy legal practice.
