Biography

Peter Wallington is a practising barrister, lecturer and writer, specialising in employment law and a part-time Chairman of Employment Tribunals. He regularly appears in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Employment Tribunal, as well as advising employers, employees and unions. He is also well known as a writer, lecturer and trainer in the areas of employment, discrimination and industrial relations. Before becoming a full-time practitioner in 1991, he had a distinguished career as an academic lawyer, teaching at Cambridge University and subsequently as Professor of Law and Head of the Department of Law at Lancaster and Brunel Universities.

Peter is Editor of Butterworths Employment Law Handbook, Associate Editor of Harvey on Industrial Relations and Employment Law and of JSB`s Employment Lawletter and a contributor to Tolley`s Employment Handbook.
