I would recommend the ACEL course to anyone advising on employment law. It teaches you to consider employment issues from a legal rather than an HR perspective, enabling you to assess very quickly the risks of taking a particular course of action and, therefore, provide much better quality advice to Line Management. As a direct result of doing this course I am much more confident in advising my clients and, on numerous occasions, have enabled them to achieve the result they want whilst removing the risk of an employment tribunal claim.
