Issue
Our client is one of the top five pharmaceutical companies in the world and engages in the research, development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical prescription and over-the-counter products. The industry experiences intense public scrutiny of every aspect of its work and the moral and ethical issues involved. In particular, our client needs to be able to demonstrate total compliance with all legal aspects of its work, especially in the area of employment law.
Our approach
We familiarised ourselves with the current practices, procedures, culture and values of our client and designed a one day event to match the requirement.
Following delivery we evaluated the success of the programme through questionnaires and interviewing, where appropriate, to ensure the high standards we set ourselves had been met.
The outcome
Participants refresh their current employment law knowledge and learn a methodology to apply it. They hone their skills in interviewing and develop further capability in handling appeals correctly. They learn the importance of following procedure and the need to keep records and evidence in an appropriate way. They emerge confident that they can apply the legal requirements successfully and thus avoid expensive and damaging litigation.
