Sylvie Cousin

Sylvie has obtained her law degree at the University of Louvain-la-neuve in 2002 with magna cum laude. During her studies, she spent 4 months at the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands. Having obtained her degree in law, she completed her education with a master on employment and company law at the University of Ghent. During this year, she worked for a local law firm in Antwerp.

She has been admitted to the French Brussels bar in September 2003 and worked three years for Baker and McKenzie in Brussels as an employment and litigation lawyer. She joined Eversheds in August 2006.

Sylvie is a lawyer specialized in both individual and collective employment law.
Her recent experience includes collective dismissals, coordinating the harmonization of working conditions, assistance with transfer of undertakings, various collective dismissals and assistance with the start up for businesses moving into Belgium.
