Arran Elkeles
Arran Elkeles MA, Chartered FCIPD, CEDR Accredited Mediator is a member of JSB’s Employment Law Faculty and has many years’ employment law and HR experience gained within both the public and private sectors.
Having qualified as a barrister, Arran’s career has covered employment law training and consultancy, human resources, and policy development for Government. She has previously worked as Personnel Director at the Building Research Establishment, as a lawyer and policy administrator in the Lord Chancellor’s Department (now the Department for Constitutional Affairs), and as a prosecutor for the South Wales Police Authority. For some years Arran was joint chairman and managing director of her family’s company in the manufacturing sector.
Arran is also an experienced writer, and has contributed to various HR and legal publications. She is a member of the Employment Tribunal, a mediator for Mediation Hertfordshire and a Governor of a Community Technology College in Hertfordshire.
