Issue

For many years we have been working with our client to support them during a time of rapid growth and expansion. As part of this long-term project we were asked to assist in improving employee satisfaction and retention of talented individuals at a crucial point in their professional careers. Our main objective was to help them to become `fully-rounded` professional advisers - with interpersonal, leadership and communication skills to match their technical ability.

Our approach

We contribute to our client`s corporate programme of training, learning and development. In partnership with internal advisors at our client, who have provided ongoing advice and support in the development of the programme, we have designed an integrated suite of courses aimed at a targeted group of individuals. These include: presentational skills, business development, leadership and teamwork. Our consultants also provide one-to-one coaching for individuals identified as needing additional support.

The outcome

Our client has reported higher levels of staff satisfaction - retention rates have improved.
