Issue
Our client, a global strategic consulting firm whose client base is made up of national governments and some of the world’s leading companies and organisations, asked JSB to provide people-in-projects management training to support its high potential staff as they become more senior and take on more responsibilities. This training needs to be integrated as a two day event in a portfolio of high quality seminars addressing the career progression of key staff. As most of its business is conducted on a project basis, this training is central to commercial success.
Our approach
We adopt a four stage approach to ensuring full integration with our client:
- We immerse ourselves in researching who our client is and how they operate; we talk to a cross-section of people to get a feel for the culture and personality of the client, research client mission and strategic goals and seek to understand how corporate behaviour is influenced by corporate values
- To enable effective course design, JSB takes a full brief on what the client wants to achieve, originates training materials based on the reality of the work the client performs and the challenges it faces, and ensures a close fit between what JSB designs and client objectives
- In delivery we harmonise with our clients style and approach, relating what happens to how far it fits with the client’s brand, values and ‘how we do things here’
- We manage our relationship with the client with a dedicated team who know this client well. JSB holds regular reviews of the service it provides and keeps abreast of changes and developments in the client organisation
