Enhancing Client Relationship Management
Benefits
- Improve the structures and processes used to manage key client relationships
- Ensure that you retain and develop your most valued clients
Issue
Our client wished to bring further rigour and discipline to the management of the firm’s client relationships in order to retain the organisation’s most valued clients.
Our approach
We facilitated a one day conference for all partners in the firm, from the US, UK and Italian branches. We focused on a single fictional client - a family - role played by professional actors. We developed a case study showing how the firm could meet the changing business and personal needs of each family member – everything from relocation to property acquisition and successful development of the family business. We explored techniques and skills for improving communication, handling client meetings, taking instructions and tailoring the services provided by the firm.
The outcome
A series of follow up meetings resulted from the event, to continue to review and improve existing approaches. A project champion was appointed from within the firm. Participants welcomed the opportunity to focus in detail on service provision and business development issues - as well as the chance to build relationships.
