What makes a company successful? How can attitude, conduct and actions be moulded into a coherent, performance-enhancing corporate culture that delivers success to shareholders, stakeholders and customers?
High performing organisations are found to have the following common traits: consistent, clear strategies; the drive and ability to go above and beyond for their customers; clear, fair and talent-oriented leaders – and a high performance culture.
But what is culture and how can it be assessed? This seminar addresses these key questions and provides a unique, easy to interpret approach to understanding your culture – the Denison Model.
- How effective is your mission statement?
- How effectively do you involve your people?
- How adaptive is your business to market fluctuations and how does it respond to change?
The Denison model will assist you in understanding the relationship between these different dimensions and how to optimise your culture to improve organisational performance at all levels. The seminar is facilitated by Bryan Adkins from organisational culture specialists Denison Consulting and offers the opportunity to test your organisational culture against critical dimensions of high performance.
You will have the opportunity to complete a 20 person pilot of Denison’s Organisational Culture Survey and receive reports and feedback on your organisational culture included in the seminar fee.
Seminar highlights:
- Identify and understand the characteristics of organisational culture that impact performance
- Explore the strengths and development opportunities for your organisation in achieving high performing status
- The Denison model: gain familiarity with a framework for understanding the link between culture, leadership and performance
- Get 'hands on' experience with tools for benchmarking your organisation?s culture
- Complete a detailed survey and receive feedback on your organisation?s culture
