Diane Hodgson
Diane Hodgson - Director, Management Development is a leading management development specialist, trainer, coach and counsellor. She combines team and organisational development ability with her expertise in transforming individual performance to deliver outstanding results for clients. Diane leads JSB's management development team. She has been a trainer for the past 17 years, designing and running training and consultancy projects in a wide range of organisational, management and personal development areas. Diane works across all industry sectors. In addition to training and consultancy projects, Diane provides one-to-one coaching, skills development, stress management and counselling to individuals and company employees. Diane also has a private psychotherapy and counselling practice and is currently a counsellor with a national Employee Assistance Programme. She is an external examiner at Farnborough College on the CIPD Diploma in Personnel. Previously, Diane worked for the Department of Employment in a range of positions, including management, policy, counselling and training. She has also worked at City University on the MBA programme and at Greenwich University on their Diploma in Counselling. Diane is a full member of the Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute, the British Association for Counselling, the Association of Humanistic Psychologists and the International Stress Management Association.
Penny Macmillan
Penny Macmillan MA Chartered FCIPD Solicitor is a practising solicitor specialising in employment law. She has over twelve years’ experience of contentious and non-contentious legal work in the employment field, including TUPE, unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and drafting employment contracts, policies, procedures and handbooks. She is Head of the Legal Department at The Race Equality Centre. Before qualifying as a lawyer, Penny held positions as a Group Personnel Manager for a health authority; Employee Relations Manager for a major retailer; and Personnel and Training Manager for a large catering services company. Penny is equally well qualified and experienced as a management trainer, HR specialist and lawyer. She delivers workshops and seminars on a wide range of employment law and best practice subjects and is a personal tutor on JSB’s Advanced Certificate in Employment Law (ACEL).
