Matthew Solon
Matthew Solon is Director of Learning and Development at JSB. He has more than fifteen years’ experience in delivering training and consultancy in all major aspects of business and professional communication skills. Matthew has worked with clients from a wide range of companies, professional firms and public authorities at all levels from Chief Executive to graduate recruits, secretaries and support staff. As well as his work in training and consultancy, Matthew has a career as a writer. In business, his work includes course materials for major corporate events and conferences - as well as a large number of video programmes for use in corporate communications. In the broadcast media, Matthew works as a scriptwriter of documentaries, dramas and features for BBC Radio 4 and the World Service.
Angela Qureshi
Angela Qureshi is an Associate Director of JSB Group. She is an HR strategist and an experienced management consultant, trainer and coach, having extensive experience at two blue chip consulting firms, Ernst & Young and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and as Head of HR at a large University in addition to her work at JSB. Angela holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College, University of London and a BSc Honours degree in Management Sciences from Warwick University. Angela is a Level A and Level B British Psychological Society qualified Occupational Tester, and is licensed in the OPQ and MBTI instruments. In addition to her individual client work, Angela is also responsible for JSB’s HR strategy portfolio of public courses for HR Directors.
Charlie Leake
As the Corporate HR Supervisor for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Charlie Leake is responsible for managing the International Management Trainee programme. This particular programme has been running since 1993 and is used as a catalyst and support mechanism for the rapid growth of Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s European expansion. Like the majority of Enterprise’s employees, Charlie began his career in the company’s Management Trainee programme, where he worked with customers at a rental branch in central London. He learned the Enterprise business from the ground up, from providing superior customer service to developing and implementing marketing plans and managing profit and loss statements. Since then Charlie has risen through the ranks and transitioned into the Corporate Human Resources team.
Jill McMillan
Jill started her career as a management consultant with Accenture’s Strategy practice, consulting on business strategy and organisational development across a range of sectors and countries. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2006, Jill was Organisational Development Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, with responsibility latterly for initiating and driving an Employer Branding agenda. Jill strongly believes in using people development to drive business strategy, and is concerned for the commercial results that can be achieved through organisational development. She is passionate about creativity and how innovation can help drive change in business, as well as enriching people’s experience at work and impacting engagement overall. Jill is currently responsible for Leadership and Development within Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch. She has an MBA and is an accredited executive coach.
