Per Benonisen, Partner, DLA

Per Benonisen is a partner at law firm DLA Piper in Oslo and is head of the firm’s department of employment, pension and benefits. He specialises in all areas concerning employment particularly, larger downscalings, reorganisations, individual terminations, elaboration of employment contracts for employees and managers. Per has also acted as external examiner at the University of Oslo. He has worked as a specialist consultant for the work environmental department in Norway. For many years, Per has spoken at several international and national conferences on Scandinavian employment law. He is co-author of the book: “Arbeidsret.no” (Damn), “En kommentar til norsk arbeidsret” and “Scandinavian Employment Law (Thomson). Per speaks the Scandinavian languages and English.

Johan Sundberg, Senior Associate, DLA

Johan Sundberg is a senior associate at the law firm Lindhs DLA Nordic in Stockholm. He has extensive experience regarding all aspects of employment law, including issues relating to termination due to redundancy and personal reasons; dismissals and loyalty issues; elaboration of agreements for managing directors and other executives. Johan also specialises in data privacy. Johan speaks at well-visited lectures on labour law and data privacy both nationally and internationally. He is co-author of the book “Scandinavian Employment Law” (Thomson). Johan speaks the Scandinavian languages and English.

Erik Wendelboe Christiansen, Partner, Horten

Erik Wendelboe Christiansen is a partner at the law firm Horten in Copenhagen. Erik is an expert within all areas of employment law, particularly agreements for managing director and other executives, incentives and stock option programmes, loyalty obligations, collective bargaining agreements and public employment. Erik is a very experienced litigator for the Danish courts before which he has represented both private and public and national and international clients in various employment matters. Erik is a teacher with the Danish Association of Lawyers, DJØF (Danish Association of Lawyers and Economists), the Danish Bar and Law Society, Thomson and DLA Advance. Erik is co-author of the books: “Non-Competition Agreements” (Schultz, 1999), “The Danish Act on Stock Options” (Thomson, 2006) and “Scandinavian Employment Law” (Thomson, 2007). Jani Syrjänen, Senior Associate, Borenius & Kemppinen

Jani Syrjänen is a senior associate at law firm Borenius & Kemppinen in Helsinki. As an experienced litigator, Jani specialises in all areas of employment law. He represents international and domestic employers before the Finnish courts in various employment matters throughout the entire litigation process. Jani also has vast experience in negotiating and drafting employment and executive agreements, policies and procedures as well as conducting in-house training for employers confronting a wide range of employment law matters including downscalings, reorganisations and redundancies.
