I specialize in labor law and have almost two decades of experience assisting multinational corporations with labor and corporate law matters in the China region.
After developing a background in PRC corporate law and M&As, I have focused exclusively on PRC labor law since 2006. I advise multinational corporations on labor issues relating to corporate restructuring and M&As. I represent clients regarding reductions in force and employee transfer issues, and drafts and reviews numerous employment contracts and employee manuals. Also advising clients on stock option, data privacy, and employee benefit issues, as well as issues relating to the employment of foreign nationals in China.
I assist the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai to prepare position papers for submission to National People’s Congress and State Council regarding the Labor Contract Law, Implementing Regulations to Labor Contract Law, Employment Promotion Law, and Social Insurance Law.
I am a key individual for Jun He Law offices, they provide employment services out of six offices in the PRC. The full-service team is particularly noted for handling employment matters for foreign invested enterprises. It acts on layoffs, non-competition agreements, employee transfer and labour disputes, and also handles HR-related matters such as creating and negotiating both individual and collective labour contracts, drafting employee manuals and preparing company policy and regulations.

We frequently welcome participants from overseas to our London events. However, we recognise that HR professionals who are responsible for managing workforces in these countries will not always be able to make the financial and time investment necessary to attend JSB events when they run in London. You will have the opportunity to submit questions to the speaker throughout the event and will get access to the slides and documentation in exactly the same way as those in the room. All you need is a standard domestic broadband connection.
Should you find that you can’t wait until the next event on your chosen topic, you can access a full recording of a recent live event. Again, full slides and documentation will be provided. This is an option for those who cannot attend an event on a particular day. Moreover if the learning is to be of practical value it is often the case that even those who participated on the day welcome the opportunity of accessing the material in the weeks and months following the event. It’s a great way to share content with colleagues too.
